Every life touches another, and you certainly more than touched mine. Because of you I am a better person not to mention a better driver and pool player. Laughter mixed with tears,memories of the first helps me with the second.

What words are there to comfort one who’s lost her only son?
To ease her pain and suffering; it simply can’t be done.
Words, in fact, seem quite obscene, in light of her great loss.
And so, instead, we turn to Him who died upon the cross.
He who conquered death himself, knew it was not the end.
Yet what was His reaction to the death of His dear friend?
When told that Lazarus was gone, Christ knew he only slept,
But Scripture tells us what He did, quite simply, "Jesus wept."
As God, He knew He’d soon restore His friend’s life-giving breath.
But clothed in frail humanity, He felt the pain of death.
And so, today, we let tears flow, condolences can keep.
We share in Betty’s heartache, and with her simply weep.

My Dearest Stephen
I miss you more and more as each day goes by. I have loved you from the moment you began to grow within me. This love has just continued to grow since that day.
Each morning I pray that God will hold you gently in the palm of His Hand until I can see your Beautiful Blue Eyes and Smiling Face. Until then, I will treasure all the beautiful memories of your short life.
